Access to Public Documents and Fundamental Rights in Germany

Sir,

I am referring to my letter of 27. February 2004, which was send by E-mail and normal mail according to my records. I can not see to have got an answer and would like to ask when an answer is scheduled.

The letter of 27. February refers to EU COM (2002) 247: Communication from the Commission - A project for the European Union chapter 1.2 The Union must build up an EU-wide area of freedom, security and justice. reads: "The European area of freedom, security and justice thus provides a guarantee for the principles of democracy and respect for human rights".

The question asked was: How will the fundamental rights be secured in member states to provides a guarantee for the principles of democracy and respect for human rights?

I am looking forward to receiving your answer.

Sincerely,

Walter Keim
